Upon opening attachments, they get opened in a Protected View which prevents me from editing the file unless I first press on the "Enable Editing" button.
As I'm always very careful about which attachments I open and often need to edit and return attachments, I find this additional step a bit annoying.
Is there a way to "unblock" these attachments by default?

I noticed that Outlook now converts typed smiley faces in actual colorful smiley face emoji when composing a message.
That’s cute and all but there are of course many more emoji and more constantly being added. I therefor had the following questions regarding emoji support in Outlook;

- How do I insert these emoji?

I'm using an Outlook.com account in Outlook on multiple computers. I've created some rules to help me organize my emails but they only work on 1 computer unless I also recreate the rules on all the other computers.
Is there any way to sync all my Outlook rules with my Outlook.com account as well?

I’ve recently deleted a couple of emails too many but as I’m using an Exchange account, I should be able to recover them via the Recover Deleted Items feature.
However, due to the amount of spam, the Social Connector and a plethora of other messages I’ve deleted it is almost impossible to find back the messages that I want to restore.
Is there a more convenient way to find back my deleted items?
Also, once recovered, which folder does it go to?

Unfortunately, Outlook on the Web doesn’t seem to recognize when I type in Dutch or German.

When this happens in Outlook, I can select the Folder tab and then choose: Recover Deleted Items. In OWA, there is no such tab and I can’t find the “Recover Deleted Items” button anywhere.
How can I recover deleted items in OWA?

I tend to leave my messages open in their own window for various good reasons at that time. However, after a while, it doesn’t make much sense anymore to leave them open and I wish to close them all but not Outlook itself.
Right now, I close them one-by-one which is rather cumbersome or completely restart Outlook as that is sometimes quicker but I feel like that is a bit of overkill.
Can I somehow close all open message windows but leave open similar to the “Close other tabs” in an Internet browser like Internet Explorer and Chrome?
