I often get double notifications for various new Emails and Calendar appointments or meetings. Usually these alerts pop-up within mere seconds of each other although some email alerts come hours later or only when I restart my computer.
I only receive the email once in Outlook and the meeting is also listed only once on my Calendar.
Why do I get these multiple notifications and how can I get only one again?

When I drag and drop an Appointment or Meeting from my Calendar into a File Explorer window or another messages, this Calendar item is being saved as an msg-file.
While this might make sense for saving emails, I’d rather save my Calendar items as ics-files.
Can I somehow change the drag & drop format for Calendar items to ics-files?

I’ve configured Outlook 2013 with an IMAP account but my Sent Items aren’t being saved to the mail server. Instead, they are being saved to a Sent Items folder which has “(This computer only)” behind it.
I’ve tried to set the Sent Items folder in the account settings for my IMAP account but there is no “Sent Items” or a “Deleted Items” tab as there was in Outlook 2010.
How do I configure Outlook 2013 to save my Sent Items on the mail server?

Usually, when I add an attachment, it shows up in the “Attached” line directly under the “Subject” line.
However, sometimes it is being added between the text of the e-mail message instead.
Is there any way to toggle the location when the attachments show up?

I’ve been using Outlook since forever and I remember that I used to be able to create Desktop shortcuts to Outlook folders simply by dragging a folder out of Outlook and onto my Desktop (or any other folder in Explorer). This allowed me to quickly go to or open Outlook in a specific folder.
When I try do this now, my mouse pointer turns into a blocked shield.
Is it still possible to create Desktop shortcuts to specific Outlook folders in another way?

I've created my HTML signature in an external application and then placed the files (including txt and rtf versions) in the Signatures folder. This signature contains a picture and looks correct when composing a new message or reply. However, when I send the message, the recipient does not see this picture.
I've successfully used this signature for years with Outlook 2010 and the issue only occurs when I send a message with this signature from Outlook 2016.
Why is this happening and how can I make my signature work with Outlook 2016?

As a company policy, we need to delegate our Inbox to several colleagues as well so that in case of a holiday, illness or other kind of absence, they can still check if important mails are coming in.
I sometimes also receive messages at work from family and friends (which is allowed as long as long as we don't spent hours on our reply).
How can I configure Outlook that my colleagues do not have access to these items?

We have a group of users which prefers to be on the newest release of Office. However, our admins prefer to validate each release (especially with our custom solutions) before they roll it out to all users.
This is why we have chosen for the Semi-Annual Channel and have put this group of users in the Semi-Annual Preview Channel.
Since we rarely find anything major, we’d now like to offer these users with the option to switch to Monthly Enterprise, Current or even Insider releases.
However, they need to be able to switch back to Semi-Annual when they run into issues, preferably without the intervention of an administrator.
How can we achieve this?

I've got a single Exchange mailbox which holds multiple email addresses. I can receive mail sent to any of these addresses just fine, but I cannot find a way to choose which address to send out with.
I've tried setting the From field with another address but that got automatically replaced with my default address or a bounce message saying that I don't have permission to do so.
How can I send out a message with one of my mailbox aliases?
