When I type or paste an URL in my message in Outlook on the Web (OWA), some sort of preview is sometimes added with a logo and a description of the website or a still image of a YouTube video.
It looks OK but unfortunately, sometimes it doesn’t work and sometimes it is being added in the middle of my sentence after I’ve added an URL which is very awkward to say the least.
I now have the following questions about this feature;
- How can I fix the links that didn’t turn into Link Previews?
- How can I remove a Link Preview I don’t want?
- How can I disable the Link Preview feature completely?

At work, our Calendars are shared by default so that we can always lookup where someone is and to book meetings more conveniently. I’m OK with this as it also benefits me.
However, I also add my private appointments to my calendar which syncs with my smartphone and tablet so that I have only 1 calendar to manage and always see my full schedule. As I don’t want everyone in my office to see and read my private appointments, I mark them as Private which works great.
As I’m sometimes somewhat forgetful, is there also a way to have my appointments marked as Private by default to prevent embarrassing mistakes?

I've received a message with a lot of people in the To and CC field. As we're all going to work on the same project, I want to create a Distribution List containing these people.
Is there an easy way I can create a Distribution List directly from the message or do I have to manually add everybody (I hope not…)?

After making several changes to the Ribbons and Quick Access Toolbars in Outlook, I wanted to make a backup of my customizations.
There is an export button for this in the “Customize Ribbon” and “Quick Access Toolbar” section of the Options dialog but this only backs up the customizations for the current item window and not all the item windows which are available in Outlook. This makes the exporting process quite cumbersome.
Is there a way to backup all the Outlook Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar customizations at once?

I’m using iCloud with Outlook to synch my Contacts and Calendar with my iPhone and iPad. This all worked without any issues until I upgraded to Windows 10.
When I try to open my Contacts or Calendar folder, I now get the error:
The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened.
I also no longer have the iCloud buttons on the Ribbon to Refresh, see any Notifications or Share Calendar.
How can I get iCloud to work again with Outlook on Windows 10?

Where can I set how often Outlook should look for new messages?

We’re using Office 365 for Business and when I logon to Outlook on the Web (OWA) via my browser, I only see a few of my folders and always have to click on “More” to see them all.
Below that, there is a huge “Groups” section that we don’t use and I’d like to hide that.
Is there any way to always show all my folders directly after logging on to the Outlook webpage?
