Outlook Hotmail Connector and HTTPS support
With the new version of the Outlook Hotmail Connector we see a common returning question;
Does this version of the Outlook Hotmail Connector support HTTPS and if not, when will this be added?

I'm using Outlook 2016 with Office 2013 and noticed that the automatic spell check and AutoCorrect isn't working. I can check the spelling manually but mistyped words do not get those squirly red underlines.
How can I enable these features?
Upon accessing the RSS folder I get the following error;
An error has occurred in the script of this page.
Line 16
Char 1
Error Object expected
Code 0
Url http://office.microsoft.com/client/outloorss.aspx?ns=OUTLOOK&lcid=1033
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Yes No
How can I get rid of it?
In my emails, I often need to refer to documentation and products on the Internet for which I also supply the URL within the message.
For readability, I turn these words into clickable hyperlinks.
Unfortunately, this is quite a bit of work and the documentation and product links are the same ones I use over and over.
Would it be possible to automatically turn these key words into hyperlinks pointing to the correct URL?
On occasion I save an attachment to a folder which I then decide to move to a better location. However, I then get the error that the folder is in use.
A similar thing happens when I save an attachment or message to a USB-drive; I cannot eject the drive and get the error that the device is currently in use. I then need to close Outlook for it to release the lock.
Is there any way to prevent Outlook for creating such a lock or to release it without restarting Outlook?
I’ve got a new installation of Outlook on Windows 8 and I’d like to place a shortcut for Outlook on my Desktop.
How do I do this?
When trying to create a new signature or editing an existing one, I get the following error;
"You are attempting to save a file type (Web Pages) that has been blocked by your File Block settings in the Trust Center"
The error also gives instructions to solve it, but when I follow these, I don't seem to have a "File Block Settings" in Trust Center.
How can I solve this and re-enable the saving of Signatures again?
I am a new user of Outlook 2013. Before this I was using online Outlook.com and Outlook 2010 in combination with the Outlook Hotmail Connector.
When I installed Office 365, Outlook 2013 seemed to have set everything up fine. However, I want to create a simple contacts group for my email but the button for "New Contacts Group" is greyed out on the Home tab of the People module.
How can I create create a new Contact Group in Outlook 2013?
I’ve configured a Connected Account in Outlook.com to read and reply to emails from another account that I own. This also allows me to receive them in Outlook without the need to configure an additional account.
A major downside of having a Connected Account is how long it takes for new emails to arrive. It seems that it only checks for new emails once every hour, which basically renders the feature useless to me.
Can I configure how often a Connected Account should check for new emails?
I’ve just switched to Windows 10 and found that it no longer ships with a mail client as Outlook Express in Windows XP, Windows Mail in Windows Vista, nor can I download and install Windows Live Mail anymore. My version of Office does contain Outlook and I now want to use that.
How do I get all my original emails into Outlook?
