People with multiple mailboxes or a lot of folders can have quite a busy Navigation Pane and therefore also tends to look after it a bit more.
Some of these people would like to keep everything collapsed for a cleaner and less jumpy Outlook interface. Others like to keep everything expanded so that they can easily reach each folder.
Sometimes it looks like Outlook has a mind of its own and keeps expanding and collapsing your folders whenever it pleases.
How exactly does it behave and how to keep all folders collapsed/expanded during and between Outlook sessions?

I do a lot of typing so I try to use the mouse as little as possible as it breaks my flow. I also found that using keyboard shortcuts is often much quicker than using a mouse.
In Outlook, I have multiple accounts configured but I have not yet found out how to switch between the accounts when composing an email.

I’m using my Outlook.com account on 2 separate computers both running Outlook 2013.
I noticed that the Blocked and Safe Senders Lists of the Junk E-mail Options for my Outlook.com accounts aren’t synchronized. They used to do this when I was still using Outlook 2010 with the Outlook Hotmail Connector.

I’ve deleted some messages which I actually wanted to keep. To recover them, I tried I tried to use the “Recover Deleted Items” button on the Folder tab but it isn’t working.

I'm receiving messages from a digest list in which the From email address is always the same, but the actual display name is different and identifies which actual group it is coming from.
When creating a rule with the condition "with specific words in the sender's address" it only looks at the email address itself and not at the "friendly name".
Is there also a way to create a rule which looks at the friendly name instead of the actual email address?

To troubleshoot some sending and receiving issues, I'd like to see the original message source as a whole as it is received. Right now, I can only see the Internet Message Header and the source code of HTML messages but not the entire (MultiPart) message.
For further analyzing, is there any way to reveal to the original message source as it was received by Outlook rather then the cut of header and interpreted body?
