I use the Signature feature in Outlook to build an email with standard responses.
For example, depending on the response needed, I can select Signature #1 and #3 for one email, and Signature #1, #2, and #4 for another email.
Now when I try to do this, the original Signature is removed and replaced with the Signature I just selected.
How can I make the Signatures stay so that I can build my email from these templates?
I sometimes receive a message without a subject or with lots of unneeded text (like a big signature or a long list of previous addresses). I'd like to keep the rest of the message, and just strip that content or add a subject.
Is there any way to edit a received message?
Who doesn’t like to copy and paste to get something done quicker? In Outlook, you can even paste something faster than you may think.
This is another one of my favorite “hidden features” in Outlook which allows you to send copied text or files without first creating a new message.
The trick is really simple and it will sure raise some eyebrows from people not familiar with it and who doesn’t like to do that every now and then? ;-)
I’m quite a fervent user of templates such as Quick Parts and AutoText, however, I have a feeling that something is missing.
I seem to recall that when I for instance typed my name “Jane Doe”, after typing Jane I just hit the ENTER key and it automatically typed out Doe for me. The same with my address, I just typed the number of my street and it automatically completed it.
Did I somehow turn off this feature? How do I get it back?
I've created a distribution list to send out a mailing and to hide the addresses from each other. However, when the message got delivered, it still showed all the email addresses.
Other newsletters I receive also use a distribution list and then the addresses are not exposed.
How can I make Outlook not to expose these addresses either?
I've added a couple of wrongly spelled words to the custom dictionary by mistake.

I created a .vcf and tested sending it to myself. When I did so and clicked on the Activities tab, every email, task, etc was listed!
Is that because I'm opening it up on my own computer?
Is this information going to appear to everyone I send this .vcf to?
I'm having a problem with Outlook sending multiple copies of some emails - usually those with attachments.
It doesn't happen with every email with attachments, just occasionally. It will send it 20-30 times but keeps the email in my Outbox saying that it hasn't been sent (although sometimes it says it's been sent but stays in the Outbox).
How can I solve this and make sure Outlook only sends out one copy again?
My ISP provides Junk Email protection and it actually does a good job at this and marks all junk messages with ***SPAM***.
Is there any way I can tell Outlook not to download these mails?
