Backing up and restoring the AutoComplete cache of Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Office 365

Backing up and restoring the AutoComplete cache of Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Office 365

When I was still using Outlook 2007, I could back up my AutoComplete cache by copying the nk2-file and then reuse it on another computer.

Now that I’m on Office 365, I no longer have this file but the AutoComplete feature still works.

Where is the AutoComplete being cached now and how can I back it up in a way that I can also restore it in the future when needed?

I’ve already added the Holidays to Outlook but I was wondering if I could also easily add other special days and sport schedules to my Calendar.

For instance, I’d like to add the moon phases, the Formula 1 calendar and a countdown to the end of the year.

Traveling between time zones

Traveling between time zones

I frequently travel between different time zones. Sometimes I change my computer's clock to match the time zone that I'm in and sometimes I don't (depends a bit on how long I'm staying).

This can be quite confusing sometimes and I often worry if all my meetings and appointments are still scheduled on the correct time.

What is the best way to configure Outlook in this situation?

Quickly collapse all opened subfolders

Quickly collapse all opened subfolders

I sort many of my messages into folders and subfolders by using rules. While I do use a Search Folder to keep track of all the new messages, the new messages still expand the folder list which is fairly large.

The result is that the Navigation Pane looks quite cluttered and it pushes my other mailboxes down and out of view and I need to scroll down to see them.

Is there a way to prevent these subfolders from being opened or to quickly collapse them all at once?

Show if a Read Receipt is being requested or not

Show if a Read Receipt is being requested or not

Every now and then I receive an email message which requests me to send a Read Receipt. While I don't mind sending one, sometimes the timing is a bit unfortunate.

For instance, when I work late at night or quickly check my email during the holiday. Also, for one mailbox I'm only a delegate and I do not want to send out the Read Receipt for my manager.

Is there a method to easily see beforehand if an email holds a Read Receipt request or some way to send out the Read Receipt at a later time?
