Cannot attach zip-files

I've got a user who is trying to send an email with an Excel file and a Winzip-file attached to it. When she browses for the files, she can see all the Word and Excel files in the folder, but none of the Winzip files appear, and thus, she can't attach them.

How can she attach a zip-file again?

Cannot back-up large pst-files

When I'm backing up my pst-file I get an error that tells me that there isn't enough room on the external drive to back up the file.

This cannot be correct; the file is listed as being only about 4.2 GB, and the external drive I'm trying to back it up to has over 31 GB of free space!

Any clue as to what's going on here?

Statistics

As any professional website, MSOutlook.info collects statistics about website usage in order to improve the usage of the website and provide content which is most relevant to you. In addition, these statistics can be used to report to any sponsors.

All of the information which is collected and reported remains completely anonymous; The data collected cannot be traced back to a single individual.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are automatically generated and placed on your computer by your Internet browser and contain session information.

MSOutlook.info itself does not place any cookies on your computer but does use third party services which can create cookies on your computer when visiting MSOutlook.info.

Google Analytics

The main service that does this is Google Analytics, a service from Google Inc. ("Google") to generate the aforementioned statistics reports.

Affiliate programs

Other services that could (but not necessarily) do this are from affiliate programs that we participate in like MyCommerce. This helps them to trace any sales that might have been generated from MSOutlook.info for which we are credited.

These links all start with https://addins.howto-outlook.com/ and require you to click on it yourself before a cookie can be placed. You'll then be redirected to a website that is not controlled by MSOutlook.info nor HowTo-Outlook.com.

It is this 3rd party site, and not our outgoing link, that might place a cookie.

Manage cookies

For other browsers, see the documentation of your browser on how to do this.

Although this will not affect your browsing experience when visiting MSOutlook.info, we do politely ask not to do this as the statistics collected and the (small) revenue stream generated from the affiliate programs we participate in, help us to continue to maintain and host the site for you and we want to thank you for that.

Instantly backup pst-files via a right-click option

I regularly create manual backups of my pst-files and although it is easy enough, it is quite a lot of clicking to locate and browse to the needed folders.

As I usually do this when shutting down my PC, bringing down the amount of clicks needed to complete this process would encourage me not to skip it.

Is there any way to make it even easier and quicker to backup my pst-files?

Setting Skype, Skype for Business, Teams, Lync or Cisco Jabber as the default IM client for Outlook

I personally use Skype as my default IM client and that also integrated with Outlook at home. At work, we use Skype for Business and there Outlook integrates with Skype for Business.

I recently upgraded my home computer to Office 2016 via our company’s Office 365 licensing and now Skype no longer integrates with Outlook 2016. When I log on with Skype for Business at home, I found out that it now integrates with Outlook instead.

Do I need the Home or Personal edition of Office 2016 for integration with Skype or can I somehow set which IM client should integrate with Outlook?
