I also use Outlook as my RSS Reader but as a result, my Unread Mail folder now also counts and displays each unread RSS message in that folder.

I'm organizing my emails into various subfolders which have subfolders of their own again. In addition, I'm using rules to automatically move messages to their corresponding folder.
Usually I keep this folder structure collapsed but then I can't see if a message arrived in any of these subfolders. Even these folder trees are expanded, I would have to scroll in order to see them all.
Is there a way to make the parent folder show the combined amount of unread items in any of the subfolders?

A company I work with a lot changed its name (it actually got taken over by another company). I have quite a few contacts from that company in my Outlook.
How can I update the company name of those contacts without editing every single one manually?

After reinstalling my computer and reconfiguring Outlook, my account got configured automatically as an IMAP account.
I've tried this for a while, but due to some features not being available for IMAP accounts and my small on-line mailbox, I'd much rather have it configured as a POP3 account again.
How can I convert my account from IMAP back to POP3?

I a previous tip, you mentioned how to Remove Outlook search results from Start Menu.
For me, searching for Outlook items in the Start Screen doesn't seem to work at all. I’ve looked for the NoSearchCommInStartMenu
Registry value but it doesn’t exist so I guess that means that it should work, doesn’t it?
Is there something else I can do to enable it again?

I know Outlook offers ways to move emails from certain people into different folders. However, I’d like to do the reverse; Move emails from unknown contacts into a different folder.
This way my Inbox will only be filled with messages from people I know instead from people I don’t know.
Can I do this in Outlook?

I have an Outlook.com account and on the Outlook.com website, I’ve used the “Clean up contacts” feature in the People section to get rid of my duplicate contacts.
This worked great as I now no longer have any duplicates in Outlook.com. However, in Outlook itself, I still see my duplicates.
I’ve already pressed the Send/Receive button and restarted Outlook for good measure to make sure everything synced up but the duplicates are still there.
Why are my duplicate contacts still there in Outlook and more importantly;
How do I get rid of these duplicates in Outlook itself?

After going back from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2007 I got the following message upon starting Outlook;
'The mail profile "Outlook" was created with a newer version of Outlook and might contain information that is not compatible with your current Outlook version. If you experience problems with this profile, you can create a new profile. In Windows Control Panel, open Mail, then click Show Profiles, and then click Add.'
I'm not experiencing any issues aside from getting this error each time I start Outlook.
