I’m trying to save an appointment as an ics-file but it doesn’t seem to be working.
When choosing the Save As function, I’m able to browse to where I want to save it, name it and even press Save. However, when I then go to that location, the saved ics-file isn’t there.
I repeated the operation to make sure I did try to save it in that location, but again nothing showed up. I didn’t even get an error. I tried it with a different appointment and I got the same results.
Why can’t I save my appointments as an ics-file?

I'm currently using a POP3 account but want to switch that to an IMAP account. Looking at my account settings, POP3 is grayed out so I can't simply change that to IMAP.
How do I change from POP3 to IMAP without losing my current emails?

I’ve set Outlook’s “Automatically wrap text at character” option to 40 instead of the default 76 but it doesn’t appear to do anything.
When I compose a message, the line still goes on forever and doesn’t break into a new line at character 40 at all. The same is true for the received message.
Why isn’t it working or what is this option supposed to do then?

I’ve pinned the new “Calendar Peek” to get the “To-Do Bar” back in Outlook 2013 but I’m still missing some functionality here.
The main options that I’m missing are:
- It only shows appointments of the current day
- Dates with appointments are no longer in bold
- I can’t “stretch” the area to show more months (Date Navigators)
- I can’t drag and drop emails or contact items onto dates in the Date Navigator to quickly schedule appointments.
Especially the first one is quite annoying. If I have a day with little or no appointments, I always found it quite convenient to see upcoming appointments for the next days. Now it just shows a big empty white spot.
Is there any way to change this and get that functionality back?

We're using a voicemail system that sends our voicemail messages as emails with VoiceMessage.wav attachments. As of lately I can no longer open these voicemail messages anymore and get the following error when attempting to open it;
"Can't create file: VoiceMessage.wav. Right-click on the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder."
How can I listen to my voicemail messages again?

I've updated about 20 files that I now need to send around for review. I do not want to send this as an attachment so I'm inserting hyperlinks to the files which are stored on the network.
For this I use Insert-> Hyperlink but for each file I want to create a hyperlink to I need to browse back to the folder.
These are a lot of clicks and will take forever! Is there a faster way?

At work, they’ve implemented Unified Messaging for Exchange. A really cool thing is that I now can call a number to get access to my mailbox via Outlook Voice Access (OVA) and have my emails read out loud.
As I sometimes don’t feel like reading emails (like long emails or memos), I was wondering;
Can Outlook read my emails out loud as well?

I recently deleted some old Calendar and Contact folders which I thought I no longer needed. However, it appears that I do. I haven’t emptied my Deleted Items folder in a while so these folders must still be there.
Sometimes, there is an indication that the Deleted Items folder is containing sub folders but when I click on the triangle to expand the Deleted Items folder, it just disappears and doesn’t show anything.
How can I recover them and why is the triangle disappearing?
