I've updated a file on our network and I want to send it to my colleague for review. Since we can both access the networkshare I want to send it as a link but Outlook blocks shortcuts (lnk-files).
Do I really have to send the file now instead?
Every now and then I come across people who still very much like Outlook Today or get contacted by people who tell me that Outlook Today is broken for them.
Officially, the Outlook Today feature has the "deprecated" status so it could be gone in a future version of Outlook. Over the years, the functionality of Outlook Today has been moved to other parts of Outlook.
Are you ready to abandon Outlook Today?
Iβve just updated to the latest Office 365 version and my To, From, Cc and Bcc fields look huge now in comparison to what it was before I updated.
Is there any way to revert them to their normal size again?
After an update of Office, Outlook now displays the navigation buttons for Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, etc⦠on the left side next to the Folder List.
These Navigation buttons used to be displayed within the Folder List at the bottom.
Where is the option to move the Navigation buttons back to their original location?
I'm working with both Outlook and Outlook Web App (OWA) and therefor want to configure the same default signature in both clients.
To do this, I opened the Signature Editor in Outlook and copied my signature text. Then I logged on to OWA and pasted the signature in the Signature Editor there. However, when pressing "Save Settings", I get the error:
The text you typed is too long. Please shorten it and try to save it again.
This made me wonder; Up to how many characters are allowed for the Signature in OWA?
When sending an email, the recipients also receive an editdata.mso attachment. I'm not sending this attachment myself.
Where is this attachment coming from?
Whenever a reminder fires, the Reminders window comes up and Outlook crashes.
I've already tried
starting Outlook with the /cleanreminders switch
and
checked my pst-file for errors with scanpst.exe
but the crash still happens whenever the Reminder window comes up.
What else can I try to fix this?
I've got delegate permissions to the Calendar and Tasks list of my manager. However, when I try to print the Calendar of my manager, it prints with my task list and not the one of my manager.
How can I print the combination of calendar and tasks of my manager only?
I'm an avid Tasks user in Outlook and I usually initially build my Task List by only assigning a Due Date. Then at a later stage I go back to review all open tasks and assign Start Dates to the Tasks.
Here is where things go wrong; When I assign a Start Date, it also modifies the Due Date which I absolutely do not want.
How can I tell Outlook to maintain the Due Date when modifying the Start Date?
