When I reply in Outlook 2013, I no longer seem to be able to insert pictures, create a table, change the message format, request a read receipt and a whole lot of other things which I was able to do in Outlook 2010.
Interestingly enough, these features are available when I create a new message or first open the message via a double click and then press the reply button.
How can I make all the features available when replying to a message as well?

I’ve configured 2 Exchange accounts and an Outlook.com account in Outlook and on my phone.
When a mail is being sent to me, the e-mails arrive almost instantly on my phone and via web access. The Exchange accounts also directly receive the items in Outlook.
However, for my Outlook.com account, it takes ages before the email finally shows up and I usually press the Send/Receive button to force the emails to come through.
How can I speed this up?

I’ve been granted delegate access to someone’s mailbox which is located on our Exchange server.
However, when I try to add it in the usual way via the Exchange account settings, I found that the option to add an additional mailbox is greyed out.
Why is this option greyed out and how can I add this delegate mailbox to Outlook after all?

The message list has changed quite a bit in Outlook 2013.
- The mail icons are gone and has been replaced with a blue bar
- The subject is now in blue
- The sender name is being displayed larger than the rest
- The first line of a message in now being displayed.
I don't find this new configuration very clear and, due to some other UI changes as well, I now see 4-6 messages less in my message list than I did in Outlook 2010.
How can I set it back to the way it was in Outlook 2010?

I'm using an IMAP account in Outlook as part of Office 365 and I noticed that various folders now have "This computer only" behind them. These folders I indeed cannot find back on the server.
This includes my Calendar and Contacts folder as well which I really cannot afford to lose.
What is the proper way to back them up?

Clippy is quite cleverly hidden in Office 2013 but once you know where he is, he is quite hard to overlook.
Did you find him already?

I checked the list of add-ins that I have installed for Outlook and I’m a bit surprised how many I have installed.
I thought I was just using “plain vanilla” Outlook without add-ins but apparently Outlook already comes with some pre-installed and some others were added by installing other applications.
I now try to “weed out” the additional add-ins hoping that it will improve my Outlook startup time as it is fast when launching Outlook in Safe Mode.
Which add-ins do I really need and which are safe to disable?

You've written various tips for which you need to start Outlook as an Administrator.
I’ve just upgraded to Windows 8 (I was still using Windows XP before), and was wondering:
How do you start Outlook as an Administrator on Windows 8?

I a previous tip, you mentioned how to Remove Outlook search results from Start Menu.
For me, searching for Outlook items in the Start Screen doesn't seem to work at all. I’ve looked for the NoSearchCommInStartMenu
Registry value but it doesn’t exist so I guess that means that it should work, doesn’t it?
Is there something else I can do to enable it again?
