We often see questions regarding getting new mail notifications when Outlook is closed. Ironically sometimes they are requests about how to get them and sometimes they are complaints about how to get rid of them.

For years I’ve been using the same pst-file with Outlook and it now has grown quite big (it currently is 5.6GB).
To speed up Outlook and backup performance, I thought about splitting up my pst-file into multiple files. As data will no longer change in these pst-files, I would no longer have to include them in my daily backups.
Is there any way I could split up my pst-file into yearly archives?

I created a .vcf and tested sending it to myself. When I did so and clicked on the Activities tab, every email, task, etc was listed!
Is that because I'm opening it up on my own computer?
Is this information going to appear to everyone I send this .vcf to?

When looking at my message list in the Inbox, sometimes the header information is shown on 1 line and sometimes it is on 2 and some even hold a preview of the message. It seems a bit erratic this way.
How can I have it to always show on 2 lines?

I've got a single Exchange mailbox which holds multiple email addresses. I can receive mail sent to any of these addresses just fine, but I cannot find a way to choose which address to send out with.
I've tried setting the From field with another address but that got automatically replaced with my default address or a bounce message saying that I don't have permission to do so.
How can I send out a message with one of my mailbox aliases?

I’ve upgraded my desktop and laptop computer to Office 365 but I believe something went wrong with the “Suggested Contacts” folder.
On one computer, the Suggested Contacts folder is there but it no longer adds new addresses for people that I sent to but aren’t in my Address Book.
On my other computer, I started with a new mailbox and that mailbox doesn’t have a Suggested Contacts folder at all!
The AutoSuggest feature still works though for any past or new addresses.
What is going on and how do I restore the Suggested Contacts feature?
