We have a maximum mailbox size of 10GB and I’m currently using 7GB of it. However, when I look at my ost-file, I see that it is over 12GB in size.
What accounts for this difference and how can I make my ost-file smaller?
I have a link in my signature to contact me via Skype. This of course isn't much of a help when I'm currently offline.
Is it possible to directly show my Skype status in my signature?
When synching my Outlook.com account via the Outlook Hotmail Connector I get the following error:
Task 'Hotmail' reported error (0x80004005) : 'There is an error synchronizing your mail account. Please verify your account is configured correctly by first accessing your mail on the web. Error: 4350. '
I have logged in via the web and nothing is reported there. Also, my mail, contact and calendar seem to sync just fine accept from receiving this error.
How can I get rid of this synching error?
When I had Word set as my email editor, I had the option to directly insert a picture from a scanner or camera via the Insert menu. That option is now gone after I have switched to Outlook 2007/2010.
Is there any way to get this functionality back?
I'm using Office 365 Home which also comes with “Web App” and “On Demand” editions of the Office applications. While I can see Word, Excel, PowerPoint Access and Publisher, Outlook is sadly missing.

The folders of Outlook (Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, etc...) are in English but I'm using a Dutch version of Outlook. I cannot rename these folders like I can with my other folders (the Rename option is grayed out).
How can I match the name of the folders to the language of Outlook?
My Contacts/People folder almost looks like it is sorted randomly. It's a mixture of being sorted by first name and last name.
In the People section in Options, I’ve set it to display in the “First (Middle) Last” and “Last First” format but this did not seem to have any effect at all.
How do I make the sorting order of People consistently?
I’m working with Excel sheets that contain a lot of email addresses as well.
When updating a field, it turns the email address in a clickable “mailto” link and when I’m not careful when clicking, it opens up a new email in Outlook.
As I have no intention to email anyone directly from these lists, but do work a lot with these sheets, this is getting annoying quite fast.
Is there any way to disable this behavior in Excel?
I've inserted a background picture in my email but this repeats itself over and over again in both width and lenght.
Is there a way to have it appear only once?
