However, when I start Outlook, it insists that I add an email account.

I used to have a folder with a Home Page set to a website. This website now no longer works and the folder is opened instead.

When I open the Folder Properties, I no longer see the Home Page tab either to re-enter it.

Has the Home Page feature been removed from Outlook or is there a way to re-enable it?

This is another one of my favorite "hidden" features in Outlook;

We’re using Outlook with Kerio Connect for which we also installed the Outlook Connector.

Search for attachments by file extension or words within the attachments

Search for attachments by file extension or words within the attachments

Outlook can find emails with one or more attachments by specifying the "Has Attachments" option.

But how can I search for a specific type of attached file?

Is it also possible to only search for text within an attachment and not within the message body?

Forward, Reply All and Print in Outlook.com

Forward, Reply All and Print in Outlook.com

When I use my Outlook.com account via the browser rather than in Outlook, I seem to miss some basic features or I simply can’t seem to find them.

For instance, how can I Forward a message or use Reply All?

Also, I can’t seem to find the Printing option. I’ve tried printing with the printing feature from my browser, but that looks very ugly as it simply prints the entire screen.

Where can I find these commands?

Disable or customize the Delete, Mark as Read, Flag and Pin action icons when hovering on a message in Outlook on the Web (OWA)

Disable or customize the Delete, Mark as Read, Flag and Pin action icons when hovering on a message in Outlook on the Web (OWA)

When I use Outlook on the Web (OWA), and then hover with my mouse over a message, the following Quick Action icons become visible;

  • Delete
  • Mark as Read/Unread
  • Flag
  • Pin

I sometimes have a bit of a “trigger finger” and worry that I might hit the Delete icon by mistake. Also, as Outlook on the Desktop doesn’t support the Pin feature, I don’t use that either.

Can I somehow disable some of these Quick Action icons and assign other commands to them like Archive or Move?
