I regularly receive picture attachments that are sideways and scans or faxes that are upside down so I need to rotate them before I can view them correctly.
However, when I open the picture in Outlook, the Rotate buttons in my picture viewer are greyed out until I first save the picture to another location. When I do that, the next time that I open this email and review the attachments, they are back in their original orientation.
How can I enable the rotate buttons without saving the attachments first and make sure that the changed orientation is save with the email?

My mailbox just got migrated to an Exchange 2013 server which comes with a completely new design of Outlook Web App (OWA).
In the previous versions of OWA, I was able to access our Public Folders via a link in the bottom left corner. I don’t see that link anywhere anymore.
I know that we still have the Public Folders as I can access them from Outlook.
How do I access Public Folders in OWA 2013?

I’m sorting my emails into multiple folders and therefor frequently use the Search feature with the scope set to “Current Mailbox”, “All Mailboxes” or even “All Outlook Items”.
However, this also returns some unwanted results from folders which are basically always irrelevant to me.
For instance, I always want to exclude the following folders from my search results: Drafts, Deleted Items, Junk E-mail, RSS Subscriptions, Newsletters, Social Media Updates and some more.
Is there any way to apply such a search filter without complicating my search query?

Upon cleaning up my hard disk, I came across a lot of eml-files.
Some of them are messages I saved directly while others are exports from email applications that I used over the years like Outlook Express, Thunderbird and even Lotus Notes.
I noticed that recent versions of Outlook can now also directly open eml-files but I actually want to store them within Outlook so all my entire email archive is kept together.
How can I import all these eml-files into Outlook?

I've been granted access to a shared mailbox on our Exchange sever. For this, I've been given the name and email address of the mailbox but I didn't get a password for it.
When I try to add the account, Outlook already resolves my current name and email address. While I can change this, it then also asks for the password which I don’t have.
How am I supposed to access this mailbox?

When I open a pdf-attachment from Outlook via a double click, it opens full screen and I don’t seem to have any options at all.
This used to open an application with lots of options and not in full screen so that I could multitask and easily copy-paste from it and there also was a printing option.
How can I get all these options back and stop it from opening pdf-files in full screen?

I’ve added a couple of addresses to my Safe Senders, Safe Recipients and Blocked Senders lists and also increased the filtering level to High.
This works great for my main email account in Outlook but it doesn’t seem to work for my other accounts. Even emails from addresses that are on my Blocked Senders list aren’t being filtered.
How can I enable the Junk E-mail Filter for my other accounts as well?
