After going back from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2007 I got the following message upon starting Outlook;
'The mail profile "Outlook" was created with a newer version of Outlook and might contain information that is not compatible with your current Outlook version. If you experience problems with this profile, you can create a new profile. In Windows Control Panel, open Mail, then click Show Profiles, and then click Add.'
I'm not experiencing any issues aside from getting this error each time I start Outlook.
Is there a way to get rid of this error without needing to recreate my mail profile?

Every time I start Outlook, I'm being asked for the password of my Exchange account. When I configured my account, I enabled the option to remember my password but I still get prompted the next time I use Outlook and now I don't have an option to save my password anymore. Passwords for my other accounts are remembered just fine.
How can I set Outlook to remember my Exchange password as well?

Ever had multiple windows open of Outlook, had to switch to some other applications and then just want to return to the last window that you had open in Outlook without first needing to go through all the previews?
There is a keyboard shortcut for that in Windows 7 and I find myself using it basically every day so I thought I’d share it for today’s tip.

When using Instant Search, it is easy enough to find something when it contains that specific word or category. I can also do a search for items that should not include that word or category by using NOT in my query. However, I cannot seem to find a way to locate all the items that do not have any value assigned at all to that field.
For instance; find all items that do not have any category assigned or find all contacts for which I haven't specified their birthday or company.
How can I use the search feature to return all items that have empty fields?

I’ve set Outlook to hide to the Notification Area when minimized to continue to run it in the background.
I then relaunch Outlook again either via the Start Menu, a Desktop shortcut or by double clicking the Outlook icon in the Notification Area.
However, each time that I re-launch Outlook, it actually creates a new Outlook window instead of reusing the Outlook window that was already running. To actually close Outlook then, I have to close all the additionally opened windows as well.
How can I stop this and make it reuse the original Outlook window?
