Don’t automatically switch to the Attachments tab when selecting a received attachment

Don't automatically switch to the Attachments tab when selecting a received attachment

When I receive an email and select its attachment, Outlook automatically switches to the Attachments tab.

I hardly use any of the commands on the Attachments tab and I much rather like to stay on the more useful Home or Message tab so that I can directly Reply, Categorize, Archive, Move, apply a Quick Step, or whatever without the need for an extra click.

Can I make Outlook stay on the Home or Message tab when I select an attachment?

I’ve found out that it was recalled by the sender but I don't think it should have been for reasons I won't go into here.

Is there any way I can still get this message back?

Visual difference between Appointments and Meetings in the Calendar

I remember that in older versions of Outlook, Meeting items in the Calendar had an icon of 2 heads on them. This allowed you to easily tell them apart from Appointment items.

Is there any way to get this back or otherwise have some other indicator to easily see what is an Appointment and what is a Meeting item?

This works quite well but it can sometimes be slow to set up such a search within the Advanced Find window.

Can I also perform Boolean and multi criteria searches in Outlook without using Advanced Find?

Reset or keep formatting when pasting to email

Whenever I copy something from another email or application such as an Internet page and paste that in my message, the formatting never really blends in with what I have already.

Similarly, when I have some carefully formatted text from Word and paste that into a new message, a lot of formatting is lost or messed up.
