Reset the local cache of an Exchange, Outlook.com or IMAP account

Lately I’m having some sync issues with my mailbox. For instance, I see several new emails in my mailbox when I login to webmail which I don’t see in Outlook.

Also, it looks like the entire month of June has gone missing in Outlook but the emails are luckily still available on the server.

Is there any way to get Outlook to sync or download these emails again?

Empty Inbox and other IMAP synching issues in Outlook 2013

It looks like the recent updates for Outlook completely broke my IMAP account in Outlook 2013.

For instance, the Inbox folder stays empty with the message “We didn't find anything to show here”. I also don’t receive any new emails.

In other folders, some e-mails can’t be moved or deleted or changes I make in Outlook do not sync to the server. Sometimes my move action is followed with the error:

"Cannot copy the items. You don't have permission to create an entry in this folder. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions. "

It seems that IMAP in Outlook 2013 is only getting worse, when will it get better and how do I fix my current issues?

Import multiple contacts from a vCard file (vcf-file)

I’ve got a vCard containing my contacts which I created by exporting my contacts from another application (Lotus Notes). However, Outlook seems to only support importing the first contacts from that file.

I then split this multi-contact vCard file into separate vcf-files, one for each contact, which all reside in a single folder. However, Outlook seems to only support importing 1 vCard at a time.

Is there any way I can import all these vcf-files at once or import this single multi-contact vCard in Outlook?

Don’t open PDFs full screen in Windows 8 Reader

When I open a pdf-attachment from Outlook via a double click, it opens full screen and I don’t seem to have any options at all.

This used to open an application with lots of options and not in full screen so that I could multitask and easily copy-paste from it and there also was a printing option.

How can I get all these options back and stop it from opening pdf-files in full screen?
