We still have some older Outlook clients that we need to be compatible with. Therefore we still create pst-files in the ANSI format.
In Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 we got prompted to choose a format (ANSI or UNICODE), in Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 this prompt appears to have been removed and Outlook always creates a UNICODE formatted pst-file.
Is it no longer possible to create ANSI formatted pst-files?

I'm trying to use the tracking feature to ensure my mail is actually being delivered. In the Message Options, I selected the option "Request a delivery receipt for this message". In the on-line help for Outlook it says that this tracking information should be shown when opening the sent item. However, I see no such information within my sent item.
I've then tried it with a "Read receipt" and although I do get a message back, I still don't see any tracking information within the sent item.
How can I see if my message was read or delivered successfully within the sent item?

When I try to delete a folder or move a folder, I get:
"Cannot Move The Items. The Folder is Full."
If I try to rename a folder, I get:
"Cannot rename '<new folder name>'. The Folder is Full".
I get this even with folders that have nothing in them.
Permanently deleting (SHIFT+DELETE) doesn't work either and results in the error:
"The message interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook."

I am trying to export emails to an Access database. All works fine, but I would like to export the email’s Received and Sent Date/Time into the database as well. This field does not show up in the export wizard.
I then tried it on another computer with a newer version of Outlook and Access but there the Export to Access option doesn’t show up at all.
How can I achieve this?

When I receive an email and select its attachment, Outlook automatically switches to the Attachments tab.
I hardly use any of the commands on the Attachments tab and I much rather like to stay on the more useful Home or Message tab so that I can directly Reply, Categorize, Archive, Move, apply a Quick Step, or whatever without the need for an extra click.
Can I make Outlook stay on the Home or Message tab when I select an attachment?

The message list has changed quite a bit in Outlook 2013.
- The mail icons are gone and has been replaced with a blue bar
- The subject is now in blue
- The sender name is being displayed larger than the rest
- The first line of a message in now being displayed.
I don't find this new configuration very clear and, due to some other UI changes as well, I now see 4-6 messages less in my message list than I did in Outlook 2010.
How can I set it back to the way it was in Outlook 2010?

Once or twice a month, I go through the Junk E-Mail folder and scan through it, looking for valid e-mails before emptying it out. If I find something that isn't Junk, I click on “Not Junk” and then it moves it to the Inbox.
In this case, I had multiple senders of which multiple valid e-mails ended up in my Junk E-mail folder and I had to manually look for and move each e-mail to the Inbox.
Is there any way to use the “Not Junk” button and then have that automatically apply to all other e-mails from the same sender within the Junk E-mail folder as well?
