I just installed Office 2013 and one thing I noticed is that Outlook now has two icons on the Taskbar when it is open. If the program is closed, only one icon is displayed.
Any additional Outlook windows also group to this icon so basically the first Outlook is only being used to open Outlook.
How can I get rid of this extra Outlook icon on the Taskbar?

There are some rules that I want to remove but when I go to Tools-> Rules and Alerts (or File-> Manage Rules & Alerts in Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013), these rules are grayed out and cannot be removed.
How can I get rid of these "ghost rules"?

When I receive an email and select its attachment, Outlook automatically switches to the Attachments tab.
I hardly use any of the commands on the Attachments tab and I much rather like to stay on the more useful Home or Message tab so that I can directly Reply, Categorize, Archive, Move, apply a Quick Step, or whatever without the need for an extra click.
Can I make Outlook stay on the Home or Message tab when I select an attachment?

When I print a Sent Item which holds tracking information from Read Receipts I requested, Outlook also prints out the entire list of tracking receipt responses.
Is there a way that I can print a message without these tracking receipts?

Whenever I try to save a message, it defaults to *.htm for HTML formatted messages and to *.txt for Plain Text formatted messages. I would like it by default to save to msg-files so it will keep all Outlook info and attachments.
How can I do this?

I've got an additional account in Outlook which I share with someone else. We often flag emails for each other which then show up in the To-Do Bar as well were it mixes with my own tasks and flagged mails.
I tried to disable this mailbox from displaying reminders in the To-Do Bar but that option appears not to be available.
Is there a way to only show tasks and reminders from emails in my personal mailbox and not from another?

I know how to flag messages for follow up, but I was wondering if I could also flag messages to become "irrelevant" after a certain amount of days.
For instance; I'm reading a message now which holds relevant information for this week. After this week, I can get rid of the message. I know that if I somehow do not mark this message, it will stay in my mailbox a whole lot longer and I'll need to reread the message in order to decide whether to keep it or not.
How can I mark a message, similar to flagging a message, as "irrelevant" after a certain date? Is it also possible to automatically delete it after this date?

I have a long email which consists of multiple email replies back and forth.
I don't want to print all these previous messages but only my selection of a single page.

When searching in Outlook, I see a group of “Top Results” before showing all other emails relevant to my search query.
I find this confusing since some of these emails are quite old and are now shown at the top and no longer chronologically.
Is there any way to disable these Top Results?
