Showing the Ruler and Tab Stops in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010

I used to have Word set as my email editor for amongst others to easily set tabs. Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 apparently only use Word as the email editor but I don't see the ruler to set the tabs.

Has this feature been dropped?

Where did "HTML options" go in Outlook 2007/2010?

In previous versions of Outlook, if I wanted to embed a link <a href=...>) to a picture instead of embedding the actual picture in emails, I would go to Tools-> Options-> Mail Format tab-> Internet Format button and in the dialog under the heading "HTML options" I would uncheck: "When an HTML message contains pictures located on the Internet, send a copy of the pictures instead of the reference to their location."

But this heading and checkbox don't exist in this location on Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010.
Has it moved to a new location?

It appears the option or feature still exists, as another user with Outlook 2007 that upgraded from Outlook 2003 who had that option unchecked prior to the upgrade sends mail with links instead of pictures just fine.

I'm guessing it was stored in the registry somewhere and was picked up after the upgrade, but how can I with a clean install have the same setting?

Keep categories while replying/forwarding

I sort my email by using Categories and I do the same for my outgoing emails.

When I forward or reply to a message that I have Categorized, my Categories are being removed for this forward or reply message and I need to reassign them.

Can I configure Outlook to automatically assign the Categories of the original message when forwarding or replying to a message? This would then automatically sort my outgoing emails.

Irregular recurring appointments and meetings

For a project, I have a whole list of meetings to discuss our progress for the upcoming months. We meet every week, but the day and time is very irregular as it is based on our availability and we skip a few weeks due to holidays. Aside from that, the topic and people involved remains the same.

How can I quickly set up these meetings without needing to fill out the information for each meeting separately?

Shortcuts to Mail, Calendar and People in Outlook on the Web (OWA)

I've been using OWA for many year now to read my emails online and the layout changes with each version it seems. Switching to my Calendar or Contacts folder used to be in the bottom left, then it the top-right and now it is located in the top-left corner.

However, in the top left corner, I first need to click a button which then opens a menu from which I can select my Calendar or Contacts folder. This is an additional click and I regularly switch between these folders.

Can I somehow switch it back to the old layout again so these folders would only be a single click away?

Print only items that belong to a specific Category

I’m Categorizing specific items in my Calendar, Contacts and Tasks folder. For instance, in my Calendar and Contacts folders, I’ve made a distinction between Work, Private and Sport Club.

Sometimes, I want for instance to print out my Work Calendar schedule or a list of Contacts to hand out to a new member of our club or just my list of Garden chores to hang outside.

While it is easy enough to categorize them, I have gone through all the printing options, but can’t find a way to select which Category to print.

How do I print just one Category?
