Can’t open attached messages
When I receive an email message from someone with an attached message I can't open the attached message; it does not open and I get no error messages.
What's wrong?
Update: Google Desktop Search has been discontinued and is no longer available. To Search your emails you can use Windows Search (built-in with Windows Vista and later) or use another 3rd party search add-in.
Uninstall Google Desktop Search and try again. This is a known issue in a release of GDS (version 5.5.0709.30344 released on October 2, 2007.
When it works now, install the latest version of GDS. The issue has been fixed in version 5.6.0711.24354 released on December 6, 2007.
